SIU Case Manager offers new
searches and features
To give investigators more fraud-fighting tools, we’ve added new searches and functionality to SIU Case Manager. The new functionality will allow you to:
- search within a single investigation or across a number of investigations
- search using filters, such as date and location, among others
- use the filters in combination to find cases that meet specific criteria
Handle large fraud cases
In a major fraud-ring investigation, a primary investigator may oversee multiple secondary investigators who each handle more than 100 claims. The updated system will provide greater flexibility for sharing information among investigators.
SIU Case Manager is a comprehensive browser-based system that allows you to:
- document case progress
- report on case activities
- summarize outcomes
In addition, the system gives managers an easy way to:
- refer casework to investigators
- oversee staff activities
- compile case statistics
Senior management can use the system to support enterprise-level reporting. SIU Case Manager also provides a convenient way to refer cases to state fraud bureaus and the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB).
No additional training required
Since SIU Case Manager is an application software service, all users will be able to use the enhanced system automatically without additional training.
Compatible with NICB
ISO is also enhancing SIU Case Manager for the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That ensures the two platforms will remain compatible for easy communication among insurers and the NICB.
