The wcPrism Detailed Claim Information (DCI) Reporter provides full automation for aggregating the specific claim data elements and values required to be reported for a random sampling of indemnity claims over the valuation time frame to data collection organizations and the NCCI.
Core features of the DCI Reporter include:
- automatic selection of random indemnity claims based on state criteria to be reported during each valuation period
- automatic tracking and aggregation of claim dollars and information to be reported at the appropriate valuation period
- all independent bureau-specific and NCCI edits to uncover potential data errors before submission
- a “roll-up” snapshot of the DCI report each month for correction analysis before the report’s due date
- a DCI submission-and-editing web application for manual entry of DCI reports as an optional delivery method
- additional optional selection methods for creation of DCI reports for specific claims
When you send ISO a new claim or make changes to an existing claim with wcPrism, the DCI Reporter system automatically tracks the data to understand what has changed and then adds or replaces the changed elements to the overall claim history to maintain an accurate aggregate summary at all times.
The DCI Reporter system also automatically creates a random sampling of claims from your transactional detail to meet the reporting requirement within each state. Once the DCI Reporter creates the sampling, it publishes the DCI reports for you to review well in advance of the required submission date.
Our comprehensive automatic process will help you:
- eliminate the time and effort needed to manually select DCI reports based on criteria required for reporting
- eliminate compliance mishaps and fines from figuring out which reports need to be sent and when
- free up IT and business resources required to track ongoing changes to each state’s reporting requirements
- improve data quality and reputation within a state by ensuring that your source-system data matches what is reported
- ensure all reports are submitted timely and accurately
