 The wcPrism Injury Reporter is a fully automated, business rules engine for the determination and delivery of both first and subsequent reports of injury (FROI/SROI) to all mandatory and voluntary IAIABC EDI Release 1 and Release 3 states. When you send ISO a new claim or make changes to an existing claim, Injury Reporter automatically analyzes the data to understand what changed, and then, based on the requirements of the state in which the claim occurred, determines whether or not a FROI or SROI report needs to be sent. If a FROI or SROI report is required, the system then determines what type of FROI or SROI is needed, creates and edits the report, and, when all edits have been passed, automatically triggers delivery to each applicable state. Once the state(s) has received each report, the wcPrism system automatically retrieves the state acknowledgements specifying whether the claim reports have been accepted or rejected and relays that information back to the adjuster or claims handler in a file that can be easily integrated into your source system.
