LOCATION® Territory Services are the fast and efficient way to get the correct territories for your personal and commercial lines policies.

Territory definitions can be complex, and you have to assign the right territory to every policy to calculate the correct premium and to avoid market-conduct fines. To speed your rating workflow and improve customer service, LOCATION offers territory information representing every address in the United States. Simply enter your risk address, and LOCATION supplies the correct territory code every time.

You can order:

  • ISO personal auto rating territories
  • ISO commercial auto rating territories
  • ISO personal property rating territories
  • ISO commercial property statistical reporting territories
  • ISO Group II zones
  • ISO businessowners rating territories
  • ISO commercial earthquake rating territories
  • ISO commercial general liability rating territories
  • California Department of Insurance (DOI) earthquake zones
  • Citizens property territories - Florida only

You also get codes for independent-bureau and state-promulgated territories.

And LOCATION includes the new territories defined by ZIP code.

But what if we don't use ISO territories?
If you have your own rating territories, you can get a customized LOCATION data file that works the same as the ISO service. Simply send us your territory definitions, and we'll do the rest.

Explore new territory with LOCATION
LOCATION Territory Services come to you as flat-file databases in convenient tab-delimited format. The services are available online or on quarterly CDs. And if ISO updates territory codes before the end of a quarter, we'll send you a new CD or a notice to check the online service.
