Future Effective PPCTM File

LOCATION® provides ISO's Public Protection Classification (PPCTM) data representing every address in the United States. But communities' PPC codes change periodically, and those changes can interrupt your workflow. How can you tell if the PPC for a particular address is about to change?

ISO has the answer. The LOCATION Future Effective PPC File alerts you — up to three months in advance — to fire districts that will experience a PPC change. You'll know the effective date for the new PPC code — exactly when you'll need to start using the new data to calculate premiums. That information will streamline your policy renewal process and help you get ready for new business.

How does it work?
Future Effective PPC is a flat-file database in a convenient, tab-delimited format. Like the entire LOCATION database, the Future Effective PPC File is very easy to integrate into your company's system. You can access the data online through ISO Passport®. Or we'll send you a new file each month with your LOCATION update CD.

Once you integrate the Future Effective PPC File into your system, you'll be able to access the data automatically when you process policies. Your system will match fire district names against the LOCATION database to check for scheduled changes in PPC codes. You'll be able to red-flag policies affected by the PPC change, react appropriately, and improve your workflow.
