Maps
Explore your portfolio. Analyze your risk.
Visual mapping
LOCATION® Analyst offers visual maps of one risk address or all policies in an entire book of business. You'll be able to use the system's powerful spatial analytics to develop risk-concentration maps based on policy distribution and risk thresholds. You can select individual policies for study and dynamically overlay them on aerial maps and other risk layers. You can also add your own customized data as one or more layers in your analysis and mapping session — giving you a complete picture of your policies' relationship to any geographic area of interest.
With the system's unique Study Area Builder tool, you select a specific geographic or risk area to analyze and map in detail. You can easily combine specific datasets with your book of business. Study areas can be as small as a census block or tract or as large as a county, state, or group of states. Once you've built your study area, you can create a variety of reports to analyze your book of business.

Real-Time Assessments
Learn how real-time weather and wildfire data can affect your book of business with Real-Time Assessments. You can integrate that data into your map analysis and know what to expect for properties in selected areas. LOCATION Analyst has tools that help you select policies in peril and calculate policy-limit totals. You can use those results to help formulate response plans.
Real-Time Wildfire
You can see that many policies are close to the wildfire perimeter. You can continue to monitor the active fire perimeter to measure wildfire risk in your book of business, closely watch properties that may be in peril, and create a response plan as needed.

Real-Time Weather
You can select an area with major storm activity and observe mapped policies by Building Code Effectiveness Grading Schedule (BCEGS®) classification. You can see that a significant number of policies are in areas of moderate to heavy storm activity — and those policies have poor building-code standards. This is valuable information, since municipalities with higher standards demonstrate better loss experience when a catastrophe strikes.
