Personal Auto Environmental Module — Filing Status

ISO is filing an optional rating plan rule that incorporates the ISO Risk Analyzer Personal Auto Environmental Module and can be used in conjunction with the ISO Personal Vehicle Manual classification and rating system. A number of states have already approved/acknowledged the filing. We continue to work with insurance departments in an effort to pursue approval/acknowledgement in additional states.

Under this approach, ISO will not be filing the ISO Risk Analyzer Personal Auto Manual on behalf of insurers that have given us filing authorization. ISO is NOT incorporating this rating plan into ISO's Personal Vehicle Manual or Personal Auto Program. Rather, we are filing this manual for use by those insurers who elect to adopt it. Acceptance of ISO's filing will make it easier for you to incorporate results into your own filings.

Companies can now file to use ISO's optional rating rule in the highlighted states.
