ISO is filing an optional rating plan rule that incorporates the ISO Risk Analyzer Homeowners Environmental Module and can be used in conjunction with the ISO Homeowners Manual classification and rating system. A number of states have already approved/acknowledged/implemented the filing. We continue to work with insurance departments in an effort to pursue approval/acknowledgement in additional states.
Under this approach, ISO will not be filing the ISO Risk Analyzer Homeowners Manual on behalf of insurers that have given us filing authorization. ISO is NOT incorporating this rating plan into ISO's Homeowners Program. Rather, we are filing this manual for use by those insurers who elect to adopt it. Acceptance of ISO's filing will make it easier for you to incorporate results into your own filings.
Companies can now file to use ISO's optional rating rule in the highlighted states.
