The CMC Manual is going green!
ISO continues to find ways to realize cost efficiencies and reduce our carbon footprint. A big part of our “going green” effort is to reduce or eliminate paper distribution where feasible. And our eco-friendly initiatives benefit you too.
ISO will end the paper distribution of the Community Mitigation Classification (CMC) Manual as of December 31, 2009, and replace it with an electronic version — the CMC Manual Plus. You’ll have online access through ISOnetSM to the tens of thousands of manual and state revisions pages we’ve given you in the past. And you’ll get all these benefits, too:
- real-time delivery of information — including PPCTM and BCEGS® classifications
- staying compliant and keeping current with state regulations
- more lead time to include newly approved revisions in your clients’ policies
- a streamlined process — with both the manual and revisions available online
- e-mail alerts that notify you of posted changes
- the ability to search the database and sort on any field
ISO will continue to find ways to reduce its environmental impact. We’re pleased you can share in the benefits of going green with us as we eliminate paper.
