National Director, SIU and Claim Services
ISO
Thomas Mulvey has worked in insurance investigations for more than 27 years. Currently, he serves ISO as the national director of SIU and Claim Services. Before joining ISO, Mr. Mulvey served as SIU director for the Prudential Property & Casualty Company, where he was responsible for internal investigations.
Over the years, Mr. Mulvey has authored many state antifraud plans, SIU operational manuals, and articles in trade periodicals. He has also served as a police and fire academy trainer and has been a frequent presenter at national and regional antifraud conferences and seminars.
One of Mr. Mulvey's current functions is as coordinator of the Insurance Fraud Management Conference. He is an active member of the New Jersey Special Investigators Association and has been a member of IASIU, the Insurance Security Association, NJ VTI, and IAATI.
Mr. Mulvey has also served on committees and working groups with the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud, the National Insurance Fraud Forum, the National Insurance Crime Bureau, and the New Jersey Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor.
Mr. Mulvey is a graduate of Providence College. He earned his master's degree in criminal justice administration. Mr. Mulvey has held the Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designations.
