Data Editing Resources on ISOnetSM

The collection and analysis of statistical data is an important function of the insurance industry. ISO releases these products quarterly and includes updates implemented by ISO circulars and included in ISO statistical plans.

Company Edit Packages (CEPs)
With ISO's Company Edit Packages, you can edit and correct your data before submitting it to ISO. The software streamlines the error detection and correction process by allowing you to test with the same edits ISO uses. You can view this manual using Adobe® Acrobat®.

Actuarial Edit Definitions (AEDs)
The Actuarial Edit Definitions manual contains definitions of the edits ISO uses when processing your statistical plan submissions. The manual includes error code descriptions and the conditions under which a record will receive each error. Your can view this manual using Adobe® Acrobat®.

Edit Tables
The Edit Tables contain the same tables that the Company Edit Packages and ISO's in-house system use during the editing process. The Edit Tables are a valuable tool if you use the Actuarial Edit Definitions (AEDs) because the AEDs often reference the Edit Tables. You can view the tables, using Adobe® Acrobat®.
